JEM Educational Services was established in 1995 to provide medical imaging classes and services to the Radiologic community.
Joseph
A. Melanson, CRT, (R) (N) ARRT, NMTCB, the founder and owner has over 40 years of experience in the profession. Mr. Melanson has been
the Director and Chief Instructor for Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, and Limited Permit X-ray Technician programs
since 1975.
The staff of JEM Educational Services, lead by Linda Ortega, MS, CRT, ARRT, (R) (CV) are experienced, knowledgable, professional
instructors who are firmly grounded in the basics of medical imaging, while keeping abreast of current advances. All the while the
staff of JEM Educational Services is keeping an eye on developing educational offerings for future medical imaging trends.
It is the
desire and goal of the owner and staff of JEM Educational Services to offer professionally related continuing education classes and
career oriented programs which are relevant and up to date.

After a highly successful 1st X-ray Technician Educational Conference, JEM Educational Services is proud to announce the date for
the 2nd X-ray Technician Educational Conference to be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010. The location will again be at the
esteemed Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower in the beautiful Palm Springs desert area of Rancho Mirage, California.
Topics
covered: current radiation regulations, PACS, digital positioning, ethics, leg podiatrics, and forensic imaging.
Special recognition
this year will be presented to Radiologist and XT Educator, Richard Drexelius, MD. Those XTs who had Dr. Drexelius, please try
to attend. Any graduate of the Doctor who would like to say a few words, or may have a special memory/story please contact JEM
Educational Services.
So mark your calendars, plan that get away day to hear great speakers, pick up good information, mingle
